Recently, a new Fulfillment report has appeared within Seller Central called the Inventory Ledger Report. We spent time digging into what this report is, what reports it will replace, and how Sellers can utilize it. Read on to learn more.
What is the Inventory Ledger Report?
The Inventory Ledger Report provides what Amazon calls a “Consolidated View” of your inventory. It’s an all-in-one report that shows exactly what’s happening with your FBA inventory.
Starting January 21, 2023, the Inventory Ledger Report will replace 6 different reports: Daily Inventory History, Monthly Inventory History, Inventory Event Detail, Inventory Adjustments, Inventory Reconciliation, and Received Inventory.
There are two Views - Summary and Detailed.
The Summary View includes the following columns
- Date
- FNSKU
- ASIN
- MSKU
- Title
- Disposition
- Starting Warehouse Balance
- In Transit Between Warehouses
- Receipts
- Customer Shipments
- Customer Returns
- Vendor Returns
- Warehouse Transfer In/Out

The Detailed View includes the following columns

How does the report improve processes for sellers?
Previously, Sellers had to download several different reports and compile them into one to get a clear view of where exactly their FBA units are at a given time, and what the status of them are – in terms of whether they’re available to be sold, in transit, out of stock, etc.
Now, with the new Inventory Ledger Report, Sellers can download a single report, and export almost all the data needed to successfully manage their FBA Inventory.
How can I access the report?
The Inventory Ledger report can be located by navigating in Seller Central to Reports > Fulfillment > Inventory Ledger.
The report can be viewed online or downloaded - and can also be filtered by ASIN, SKU, FNSKU and custom timeframe. The data goes back up to 18 Months.
