Amazon Premium Seller Support Options Now Available!

Amazon has just rolled out a cool new feature in beta: the Seller Support Specialist option. This means sellers can now reach out directly to a specialist who’s got the knowledge to tackle your specific issue - whether you’re dealing with tricky problems or need some tailored advice!

What is Amazon Specialist Seller Support?

Amazon sellers can now connect directly with Seller Support specialists via phone call or chat 8 AM to 8 PM EST Monday-Friday. For those who’ve struggled with Amazon’s Seller Support before, this could be a game changer. This could mean an end to wrestling with endless automated systems—and a path to straightforward, real-time help when you need it most. Our teams are in the process of testing the new Amazon Support Specialist beta – and will share our experience of how it compares to the “standard” seller support. Amazon defines a Support Specialist as the following:

“A specialist is a highly experienced and trained support executive at Amazon, who is dedicated to supporting Selling Partners on a specific set of issues and possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in their area of support. Specialists differ from other Seller Support associates in their higher level of experience and expertise, specialized knowledge in specific areas, higher ownership and dedication to resolving issues, and the ability to handle complex and high-impact issues. Specialists are a valuable resource for Selling Partners, providing personalized and effective support to help them succeed in the Amazon store.”

Accessing Amazon Specialist Seller Support:

To get in contact with an Amazon Support Specialist, navigate to the “get help and resources” page in Seller Central. From here, next to “Listing issue? Connect to a specialist and solve it faster” click “Connect Now”.

Type in your issue and search it to see if it’s eligible for specialist support. It’s important to note that not all issues are supported by Amazon Support Specialists.
