Amazon sellers should have received the below communication from Amazon informing them of Remote Fulfillment auto-enrollment. As of April 11, 2024 – Amazon has auto-enrolled Sellers who did not opt-out into their Remote Fulfillment program.

In this article we discuss what Amazon’s Remote fulfillment program is, the enrollment process, as well as the program's pros and cons.
What is Amazon's Remote Fulfilment Program?
The Remote Fulfillment program allows Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) sellers to offer their existing US FBA listings to Canada, Mexico and Brazil. The program makes expanding your brand internationally (limited to the North American counties mentioned previously, at this time) a breeze compared to having to create brand new ASINs within those marketplaces.
Remote Fulfilment uses Global ASINs, which is an ASIN shared across international marketplaces. Any established ratings, reviews, and ranking will carry over as well – which is of huge benefit. If you’re enrolled in Remote Fulfillment, and your ASIN is eligible, the listing will appear under the Remote Fulfillment page within Seller Central under the Manage Listing section.

Amazon Remote Fulfillment Program Enrollment in 2024:
To access the Remote Fulfillment page, you must login with the primary user in your Seller Central account. Use the menu on the left-hand side to navigate to Inventory > Remote Fulfillment with FBA. Here, you can view your account enrollment status along with your SKU enrollment status.
To exclude specific ASINs in bulk, click “Report” on the ASIN Eligibility report, and generate a report. Use this template to customize which ASINs you’d like to include in the program for each country.
Pros and Cons to Amazon's Remote Fulfillment Program:
Pros:
- Simple enrollment process.
- Increase your brand awareness internationally.
- Use existing listing pages with Global Listings.
- Get a pulse on how your products perform in these countries (and opt out any time).
Cons:
- ASINs with account health-related problems enrolled in Remote Fulfillment could negatively impact your account and worse, lead to account deactivation. These product types aren’t eligible:
- Restricted products
- Prohibited products
- Dangerous goods
- Blocked for importation
If you didn’t want to enroll, and you did not opt out before April 11, 2024, you are most likely auto-enrolled in Amazon’s Remote Fulfillment program. Thankfully, sellers can still opt out at any time. However, before deciding to opt-out, it’s worth reviewing the pros and cons discussed above.
