What is Amazon Outlet?

Amazon Outlet is a dedicated section of Amazon.com with heavily discounted offers. Recently, Amazon announced they made 60% more FBA products eligible for Outlets – so now is a great time to check your products are eligible (especially if your products were ineligible in the past!)

Creating an Outlet Deal:

Requirements include:

  • Have inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers for at least 90 days
  • Have at least 1 unit of inventory on-hand
  • Be in new condition
  • Have a product rating of at least 3 stars or no reviews
  • Are not currently enrolled in another Deal promotion such as Lightning Deals
  • Have not appeared as an Outlet deal in the past 60 days
  • Is not restricted for sale in your store

Step-by-step Instructions:

  1. On Seller Central, go to Inventory, select FBA Inventory.
  1. To filter for eligible inventory, click Create Outlet deal in the Recommendation filter.
  1. From the drop-down menu in the Action column to the right of the eligible item, select Create Outlet deal.
  1. In the pop-up window, enter your price in the Outlet deal price box. Your price must be less than or equal to the maximum price.

We recommend reviewing the full Amazon Help Page for complete details surrounding requirements and enrollment.

It’s important to note that not all submissions are accepted – and in the past, it has been somewhat rare for an Outlet Deal to be approved. We are hopeful that the expansion in eligible ASINs will improve our chances. Good luck!
