New Growth Opportunities Page Available in Seller Central: October 2021

Amazon Marketplace

On October 14, Amazon announced the new Growth Opportunities page in Seller Central. 

Under Growth > Growth Opportunities, sellers can now access key insights that Amazon recommends taking action on for getting a PSL (Potential Sales Life) on your FBA Products.

The page lists recommendations on the ASIN level such as Create A+ Content, Add Main Image, Enroll in Vine, and Create a Sponsored Products Ad. You can see each recommendation type by clicking “View More” on the top left side of the page.

For each recommendation they make, they also provide data estimates on exactly how you can expect this to impact you. The data types include Daily Sessions, ASIN Conversion Rate, Category Conversion Rate, Sales Rank, and Inventory Count. Amazon also provides their definitions on the page.

The recommendations include:

  • Create A+ Content
  • Create A+ Comparison Table
  • Enroll in Vine
  • Create Sponsored Products Ad
  • Increase Subscribe & Save Funding
  • Lower Your Referral Fee
  • Add product description
  • Add Main Image
  • Add High Resolution Main Image
  • Add additional bullets
  • Add Video
  • Optimize Product Title for Search

You can also filter by Category or Brand.

This page can be helpful for sellers who are not sure where to start in terms of strategy for increasing sales. You can act on the recommendations directly from the page, by clicking directly on the recommendation - which will save time and effort for sellers. You can also search by ASIN on the top right of the page, which is helpful if you are working on a specific product.

There is also an option to filter “HV” High Value, and “HP” High Potential. High Value means the ASIN is included in the Top 10% performing ASIN of your catalog. High Potential ASINs have a high Potential Sales Lift, meaning if you follow all (or some) of the recommendations, you are likely to see an increase in sales.
